Odie Lindsey is the author of the novel Some Go Home, and the story collection We Come to Our Senses, both from W. W. Norton. His fiction has appeared in Best American Short Stories, Iowa Review, Guernica, Fourteen Hills, Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading. His awards include the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters prize in Fiction (Some Go Home), the Dobie Paisano fellowship, an NEA fellowship for combat veterans, the Tennessee Arts Commission fellowship, and the Southwest Review’s McGinnis-Ritchie Award for Nonfiction.
Lindsey is Writer-in-Residence at Vanderbilt University’s Department of Medicine, Health, and Society.
